Jantzen Development is a leading international provider of farmland investments headquartered in Denmark with local branches in Slovakia and Romania.

Jantzen Development acquires farmland in Central and Eastern Europe for subsequent leasing to professional operators. We develop and manage this investment for investors. Our investment concept is based on our local presence and comprehensive hands-on experience in the region combined with long-standing and strong relations to leading financial institutions.

During the years we have developed close relationships with local and national authorities. This helps keep project development time down to a minimum.

Jantzen Development has successfully completed a number of large projects since 1997. Initially, we developed farm projects in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, and in recent years we have focused on high-quality farmland in Romania and Slovakia due to the particularly attractive market development in these countries.

Today, our investor base includes financial and institutional investors seeking to diversify their portfolio through a passive real investment that does not entail developer risk.

Jantzen Development has 25 employees and is wholly owned by Erik Jantzen.
